Test drive the Maxwell Institute’s brand new website

Joseph Bonyata is director of the Institute’s publications department. He’s been working hard with our team over the past year to get the new MI website ready, and today we’re rolling out the beta version. —BHodges

We’re excited to announce that the beta version of the Maxwell Institute’s new website is now live at mi.byu.edu. We designed the site to give users quick and convenient access to our past catalog, the MI blog, and a news and events section. The site will also include individual portals for our five academic research units like the Middle Eastern Texts Initiative and the Laura F. Willes Center for Book of Mormon Studies. Please bear with us while we make the transition. Our back catalog and other portals will be available again very soon.

Additionally, the Maxwell Institute Press section will include fully searchable texts for most of the books and periodicals we’ve published over the past 25 years in more formats than ever. The new site has also been optimized for use on all types of devices, including those running iOS and Android.

As we continue to build the individual research unit sites and add new content to other areas of the site, we want to give you the opportunity to take the site for a test drive and let us know if you find any bugs that we can fix before our official launch. Please report bugs and other user-experience comments here.

We appreciate your feedback!
