July 6th, 2023 is Neal A. Maxwell's 97th birthday. Elder Maxwell was a devoted Apostle and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the namesake of our institution. He passed away in 2004, and his legacy of scholarship lives on through the scholars and associates of the Maxwell Institute.
