Humans are created in the image of God. Therefore, the Humanities—literature, history, philosophy, art, and more—provide us chances to learn more about God’s image as we learn more about each other. In this special lecture, Brigham Young University’s George B. Handley will discuss the challenges and rewards the Humanities present for religious faith. How can we be faithful to the multifaceted dimensions of truth while also being truthful to the multifaceted dimensions of faith? How can we better invite Christ into our lives as students and teachers?
LIVING FAITH lectures are for all who cherish the life of the mind and the things of the spirit. This lecture series promotes scholars who cultivate a believing heart while engaged in the disciplines of the academy.
