Joseph Spencer renewed as editor of 'Journal of Book of Mormon Studies'

oseph M. Spencer\u2019s term as editor of the Journal of Book of Mormon Studies has been renewed for a second three-year term.

Spencer assumed editorship of the Journal in 2017, overseeing the publication of two volumes (vol. 27 and 28) with one more on the way (vol. 29).

About Joseph M. Spencer

Joseph M. Spencer has degrees from Brigham Young University, San Jose State University, and the University of New Mexico. He is currently an assistant professor of ancient scripture at BYU. He is the author of numerous books including An Other Testament: On Typology\u00a0(2nd edition 2016, Maxwell Institute),\u00a0For Zion: A Mormon Theology of Hope\u00a0(2014, Greg Kofford Books), and\u00a0The Vision of All: Twenty-five Lectures on Isaiah in Nephi\u2019s Record (2016, Greg Kofford Books). His book First Nephi: A Brief Theological Introduction will be released in February 2020.
