After seven years as part of the Institute, the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship's Advisory Board is officially dissolved.
It is with sincerity and deep gratitude that the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship thanks the 2022-2023 Advisory Board and all other past members for their exceptional service.
The Advisory Board was created by former Executive Director Spencer Fluhman in 2016, and has been an essential part in charting the institutional path of the Maxwell Institute. Their wisdom and oversight has deeply blessed the Institute and BYU campus.
Interim Director Kristian Heal thanks the board for their service: “The Maxwell Institute advisory board has provided vital and sustaining support, insight, encouragement, and guidance over the past seven years (2016-2023). They have honored and blessed the whole Institute with their service. Above all, they served as wise counsellors and faithful friends to Spencer Fluhman during the tenure of his luminous leadership as the Executive Director of the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship.”
