Stephan Taeger was born and raised in western Massachusetts. After serving a mission in Las Vegas, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley State College, a master’s degree from the University of Utah, and a PhD in Instructional Psychology and Technology from BYU. Before joining the BYU faculty, Taeger worked for Seminaries and Institutes for about 17 years. He and his wife, Kirsten, have six children.
