Rosemary Thackeray

Dr. Rosemary Thackeray is currently serving as assistant to the president for planning and assessment at Brigham Young University (BYU). She is a professor of public health and has taught undergraduate courses in evaluation methods and graduate courses in survey and research methods. Rosemary’s research focused on social marketing, health communication and women’s health issues. Prior to joining the BYU faculty, she was employed for nine years at the Utah Department of Health and worked for various public health organizations. While on a sabbatical, she worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Health Marketing in Atlanta, Georgia. Rosemary received a baccalaureate degree in health education from Utah State University and earned both a Master of Public Health and Doctor of Philosophy in health promotion and education from the University of Utah.
