Robert Daines is currently Associate Dean and Pritzker Professor of Law and Business at Stanford Law School. His research is focused on corporate governance and on the intersection between finance and law; he’s generally curious about whether regulations have their intended effect. Before moving to Stanford, he taught at NYU and Yale. He is the father of five. He graduated from BYU with degrees in American Studies and Economics and is a former Marriott Center ball boy.
