John Gee

John Gee (Ph.D. in Egyptology, Yale University) was the William “Bill” Gay Assistant Research Professor of Egyptology at the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship from its inception in 2007 until 2019 when he transferred to BYU’s department of Ancient and Near Eastern Languages. He also served as series editor for Studies in the Book of Abraham and as a member of the editorial board of the Eastern Christian Texts series.
