Darius Gray

Trained in broadcast journalism, with degrees from the University of Utah and Columbia University, Darius Gray worked for KSL radio and television during the late 60’s and early 70’s. Along with Margaret Blair Young, he coproduced/directed Nobody Knows: The Untold Story of Black Mormons and coauthored a trilogy of historical novels about Black Mormon pioneers entitled Standing On The Promises. A frequent lecturer on genealogy, Black history, and LDS history, he has contributed articles to the Huffington Post and co-hosted Questions and Ancestors, a nationally aired program on genealogy. Mr. Gray served for six years as President of The Genesis Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints, a support group for Latter-day Saints of African descent. For decades Darius has been actively engaged in human rights and civil rights causes which promote the brotherhood and sisterhood of God’s children.
