‘These are our days’—2018 Annual Report now available

The Maxwell Institute’s 2018 Annual Report is now available to read online.

Our report features Elder Jeffrey R. Holland’s 2018 Neal A. Maxwell Lecture, “The Maxwell Legacy in the 21st Century,” video of which can be seen here. It also includes Cory Maxwell’s touching tribute to his father Neal A. Maxwell, Mpho Tutu van Furth’s keynote presentation on forgiveness and reconciliation, research reports from each of the Institute’s scholars, a featured article on the Institute’s new Study Edition of the Book of Mormon, Spencer Fluhman introducing “A New Maxwell Institute Mission,” and more.

Beloved colleagues, if we do our work well today, we can make things better for those who will come in troubled times ahead, those prophesied times before that day when Christ Himself will rule and reign, that eschatological moment against which I increasingly measure both my own personal worthiness and that of the Church generally. In that regard we all need to do what we can in the hour we have been given, acknowledging as the later Nephi did that ‘these are [our] days’ (Helaman 7:9).
