Susannah Morrison is a research assistant at the Maxwell Institute, working under the supervision of Dr. Carl Griffin on creating an online database of digitized manuscripts of the Old Latin Bible. Raised in northern Canada by an Anglo-Scottish father and an Iraqi-German mother, she is a sophomore at Brigham Young University double-majoring in History and Classics. She plans to attend this summer’s Pembroke-King’s Programme at the University of Cambridge where she hopes to research the origins of English nationalism in relation to the works of the Venerable Bede. After completing her undergraduate degree at BYU, Susannah plans to pursue postgraduate study in the United Kingdom in English medieval ecclesiastical history.
