Sandra Shurtleff is the Maxwell Institute’s staff assistant to the executive director. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Middle East Studies. After graduation, she served a mission for the LDS Church in Campinas, Brazil and fell in love with both the language and culture. She’s worked as an office specialist and administrative assistant at BYU and Utah Valley University. Sandra taught LDS Seminary for a semester in Spanish Fork before deciding to return to BYU. She enjoys traveling, writing music, playing sports, and being with family and friends.
