Reid L. Neilson, PhD and MBA, is Assistant Church Historian and Recorder and managing director of the LDS Church History Department. He is the award-winning author and editor of many books, including Exhibiting Mormonism: The Latter-day Saints and the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair (Oxford University Press). He is also on the editorial boards of the Deseret Book Company and the Joseph Smith Papers.
