Leah Gaush is a sophomore at BYU studying Linguistics with minors in TESOL and Native American Studies. She loves studying foreign languages and is fascinated by the way language connects to culture. As a member of the Navajo Native American tribe, she enjoys learning about her roots and participating in her community. She has published works of original poetry and creative nonfiction and hopes to continue publishing her work and developing her skills at the Maxwell Institute.
