Leah Davis majors in elementary education with an editing minor at Brigham Young University. She is a student editor for the Laura F. Willes Center for Book of Mormon Studies. Under the direction of Brian Hauglid she edits Mormon Theology Seminar research papers. She also assists Shirley Ricks with editing the Journal of Book of Mormon Studies. In addition to her work at the Institute, she is a writing tutor for other BYU students. She especially enjoys tutoring English as a Second Language Learners. She has been a staff editor for four BYU student-run publications.
Leah lived in Arizona and Montana before her Spanish-speaking mission to Arcadia, California. Her mission experiences taught her to love interacting with people from different cultures. After she graduates, she hopes to help underprivileged students and families as an elementary school teacher while writing and editing on the side.
