Kelli Mattson is a research assistant for Dr. Janiece Johnson. She has the privilege of assisting in the research for her project, “Becoming a People of The Books: Toward an Understanding of Early Mormon Converts and the New Word of The Lord.”  She is currently in the nursing program. Although it is quite different from southern California upbringing, Utah has become a wonderful playground for her. She loves being outdoors and if it were up to her, Kelli would be outside all the time.
