Katherine Hansen is a junior at BYU completing her undergraduate studies in geography and editing while managing her eclectic interests. She studied at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan and continues to develop her Mandarin language skills. She anticipates pursuing a law degree (but not selling her soul) with an international focus that will let her return to Taiwan someday.
Although residing in Provo, she still proudly claims “Cincy,” Ohio as home. When not answering skeptical inquiries about her career path, she obsessively builds music playlists and analyzes popular films for gospel themes.
Katherine received a Swensen Mentorship to work with Dr. Kristian Heal on his Women, Travel, and Manuscripts in the Middle East project.
