Joshua Davis is a research assistant at the Maxwell Institute for Dr. Terryl Givens, working on a project about nineteenth-century Christian writers. He is in his final year at BYU, pursuing a degree in American Studies with a minor in Spanish. Outside of his work at the Maxwell Institute, Joshua recently co-authored an article about the history of the 1970 Clean Air Act that has been accepted for publication in the spring 2020 edition of Hastings Law Journal. After graduation, he plans to begin law school. His primary research interests involve American and church legal history.
