Being able to learn, love, and live the Restored Gospel while working under the direction of the dedicated disciple-scholars at the Maxwell Institute has been an experience as transformational and beautiful as it has been instructive and challenging. Calvin’s faith has become ever more bright as he had the opportunity to bask in the rich history and abundant theology of the Restored Gospel — a gospel Elder Maxwell himself described as “inexhaustible.” From his time here at the Institute, in his own limited way he feels he may add to the chorus of Latter-day Saint voices echoing Elder Maxwell’s own moving testimony of the reality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Working at the Maxwell Institute is a privilege he will cherish forever.
