We just rolled out a few new improvements to the website. First, I’m happy to announce the SEARCH feature has been completely revamped. Go ahead and click on that little magnifying glass at the top of the page and give it a spin. Second, we hope you like our newly designed BOOKS page featuring our latest releases and a full list in alphabetical order, also arrangeable by publication date or author name.
And now our PAST PUBLICATIONS section features a collection of FARMS catalogs from the 1980s and 90s. In its earliest days, the Foundation for Ancient Research and Mormon Studies reprinted and distributed a variety of articles and papers primarily about the Book of Mormon. FARMS soon began facilitating and publishing more original scholarship in books, journal articles, and recordings, thus adding to their offerings. Basic order forms gave way to full-fledged catalogs in the mid-1980s. The catalogs featured in this new section were owned by Matthew Roper who enthusiastically underlined, highlighted, and annotated them much like many FARMS fans making their own collections. If you possess cleaner copies, please let us know and we can arrange copying them. Catalog usage was discontinued prior to FARMS being absorbed by the Maxwell Institute’s Willes Center for Book of Mormon Studies. We provide them here for historical interest only. More order forms and other materials will periodically be added to the PAST PUBLICATIONS page as they become available.
