Leslee Thorne-Murphy is a professor of English and associate dean of Humanities at BYU. Her research focuses on Victorian social reform fiction and philanthropy. She is the author of Bazaar Literature: Charity, Advocacy, and Parody in Victorian Social Reform Fiction. She is currently working on an anthology of 19th-century children’s literature of faith and a study of Victorian periodical fiction genres.
