What It Means for Me to Be Religious and to Believe in God

While coming to terms with some experiences that challenged my faith, I decided to take stock and determine which things matter most and ought to come first in my life. I turned to Jesus’s teachings about the first and second great commandments. Loving God and loving others as the self. Endeavoring to live my life to those ends has made all the difference. It is the reason for the hope that is in me.
