Blair Dee Hodges is the Maxwell Institute’s public communications specialist and an acquisitions and development editor for the Living Faith book series. He also serves as the chief editorial assistant for the Mormon Studies Review. He hosts, produces, and edits the Maxwell Institute Podcast.
Blair earned a BA in mass communication with a minor in religious studies from the University of Utah in 2010. He received a master’s degree in religious studies from Georgetown University in 2013. His thesis, “Intellectual Disability in Mormon Thought and History, 1830–1900,” received the Best Thesis award from the Mormon Historical Association in 2014.
His articles and book reviews have appeared in various publications including Journal of Mormon History, Nova Religio, Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought, Sunstone, The FARMS Review, and the Mormon Studies Review.
He currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his spouse, Kristen, and their two children.
